Come Autumn, we all need to have our RV winterized. This is a fairly easy thing to do yourself but before doing so…is your RV still under warranty?

If you have a newer RV, camper van, or motorhome, that is still under warranty, just pay the money to have your dealership winterize your RV for you. Especially if you’ve never done it before yourself. Taking it in to have your dealership do the job also makes for a good opportunity to have them do an annual inspection of your roof, and sealants.
Many service centres will show you how it’s done, and record it on your phone, so that you can do it yourself next time.
If you’re RV is out of warranty, it’s time to learn how to start doing things for yourself. RVs are notorious for developing issues over time, so it’s good to learn how to do things yourself, and save some money by doing so. Below is one of many videos showing how it’s done, but every rig is different, so it may be best to try and find a video that is specifically for your RV.
Pro Tip: Add Bounce Dryer Sheets (original only) to EVERY cabinet, cargo, and storage area in your RV. It helps keep rodents out during the winter.
